The Director of National Accounts will be responsible for developing and growing BRĒZ’s presence in key on-premise accounts, including bars, restaurants, hotels, nightlife venues, and entertainment spaces. This role will lead sales strategy, relationship management, and execution of programming across national and regional chains, ensuring alignment with BRĒZ’s overall growth strategy.

What you will do:

Strategic Account Management & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a national on-premise strategy to drive revenue and market penetration.
  • Identify and secure new national and regional on-premise accounts while strengthening existing relationships.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts, pricing structures, and promotional programs with key on-premise partners.
  • Partner with distributor network and sales teams to ensure seamless execution at the account level.
  • Align on-premise strategy with overall company goals, ensuring a strong brand presence and market differentiation.
  • Partner with our Key account broker firms to maximize BREZ national account business
  • Work closely with our natural foods distributor of KEHE and UNFI + others
  • Data Management with all distribution partners, natural food distributors, and retail data partners (SPINS, CIRCANA, ETC.)

Sales Execution & Performance Management:

  • Oversee the execution of account-level programming, ensuring compliance with brand standards and objectives.
  • Develop sales forecasts, track key performance metrics, and implement strategies to optimize growth.
  • Work closely with marketing, trade development, and field sales teams to execute account-specific initiatives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts and internal leadership to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Meet regularly with our key account broker team and maximize the BREZ Opportunity.
  • Manage all National Account programming, budget, and review and analyze trade spends

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership:

  • Work closely with Retail marketing to develop customized on-premise activations, brand education, and consumer engagement strategies.
  • Develop Retail assets to be utilized across key retail parners
  • Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability and smooth fulfillment for key accounts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of national account brokers and field sales,, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the on-premise market.
  • Collaboration with Insurance and on Premise retailers to drive industry growth
  • Create a workplace culture where people feel motivated and are excited to bring their best selves to work and commit to BRĒZ’s goals and objectives

Supervisor Responsibilities

Carry out supervisory responsibilities that align with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees and assisting with planning, assigning, and directing work; celebrating and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provides regular performance feedback and coaching to direct reports including reviews.


What you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in national accounts or on-premise sales within the beverage, alcohol, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong relationships with key on-premise buyers and distributors at the national and regional levels.
  • Proven track record of securing and growing high-profile on-premise accounts.
  • Strong understanding of on-premise pricing structures, promotions, and account dynamics.
  • Experience working with distributor networks and trade marketing teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategic growth initiatives.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to manage national accounts and attend industry events.
  • Excellent relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to tailor messaging to the audience

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.

  • 80% Travel required to events, venues, and various locations Nationally
  • Experience in the beverage, CPG, or cannabis industries is a plus.
