As a BRĒZ Retail Marketing Manager, you will be reporting directly to VP of Marketing with a direct line to the Chief Revenue Officer and will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, enhancing retail partnerships, and delivering impactful trade and consumer experiences. This position requires a strategic, creative, and organized professional who thrives at the intersection of marketing, sales, and brand activation. This position is ideal for someone with a drive to build relationships, a strategic mindset, and a passion for creating unforgettable brand experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

Retail Activation Programs:

  • Strengthen retail partnerships through innovative programs and experiential marketing efforts that increase brand awareness and sell through in store.
  • Oversee in-store demo programs and activations, focusing on sales conversion and delivering memorable consumer experiences at key accounts.

Sales Toolkit Development:

  • Prepare high-impact sales tools, including pitch decks, sales sheets, and onboarding materials for new sales hires.
  • Ensure materials effectively communicate the brand's value proposition and support sales goals.
  • Create and maintain an external-facing digital asset folder for streamlined access to marketing materials.
  • Manage online menu content across all retail platforms, including product photography and descriptions, ensuring consistency and accuracy for internal use and external partners
  • Collaborate with sales, Chief Revenue Officer, product, and marketing teams to develop aligned digital assets, trade marketing and POS strategies.
  • Manage POS needs across trade channels, including distributors, retailers, and on-premise locations.
  • Oversee the creation and deployment of paper collateral, displays, end caps, branded refrigerators, and event activation kits.
  • Coordinate with creative teams for ideation, messaging development, and vendor estimates to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Manage POS production timelines, 3PL intake, and shipping logistics.

B2B Communications:

  • Partner with brand and digital teams to align and manage omnichannel marketing strategies (including email, etc)
  • Work with internal team to monitor and optimize digital retail advertising campaigns to achieve ROI goals
  • Drive briefing of creative and coordinate with the acquisition team for geo-targeted digital campaigns (Facebook, TikTok, Google) to drive in-store traffic.
  • Develop a trade marketing plan that helps drive awareness and conversion for TRIP across our retail partners
  • Support new product launches by coordinating trade-specific marketing initiatives and ensuring seamless execution at the retail level
  • Partner with distributors and retail partners to design and execute joint marketing initiatives, co-branded promotions, and seasonal campaigns

Leadership:

  • Identify and procure branded swag for events, tastings, and other activations to enhance consumer engagement and brand recall.
  • Create a workplace culture where people feel motivated and are excited to bring their best selves to work and commit to BRĒZ’s goals and objectives
  • Foster connection between the sales and marketing teams by taking ownership of weekly syncs and monthly digests to ensure cross-functional planning, calendars and insights are aligned

Supervisor Responsibilities

Carry out supervisory responsibilities that align with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees and assisting with planning, assigning, and directing work; celebrating and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provides regular performance feedback and coaching to direct reports including reviews.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 2-3 years proven experience leading trade marketing, field marketing or brand activation within the retail or CPG industry.
  • Experience working with multiple customer groups, stakeholders, and a cross-functional team environment
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of brand consistency.
  • Familiarity with event planning and execution, including coordination of logistics and promotional campaigns
  • Excellent relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to tailor messaging to the audience
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in creating sales and marketing collateral, digital content management, and B2B outreach strategies.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and trade marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM systems.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
  • Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Travel required based on business needs
  • Experience in the beverage, CPG, or cannabis industries is a plus.
